Merrill Iowa approves Northwestern Bell franchise ordinance
Special session of Merrill Council with Mayor Todd presiding approved an ordinance granting Northwestern Bell Telephone Company the right to occupy streets for a 25 year local telephone and telegraph system. A December 3 1952 special election was ordered to submit the franchise to voters. The notice will be published in Le Mars Globe-Post.
