A son was born to Mr and Mrs Gene Hansen May 13 at St. Joseph hospital in Sioux City. Baccalaureate services were held at Hinton High School Sunday afternoon. Gene Bogenrief bought a new car recently. Jimmie Gittins family visited Guy Gittins. Mrs Tom Flannery and sister in law Mrs Leland Allen with daughter from Onawa traveled to Omaha last week. Gene Hansen and infant son came home from the hospital Tuesday. Adolph Kavarna hosted supper guests Bill Hathaway and family from Sioux City. Perry 500 club members entertained Harold La Bahay and Sally Gould and her children from Cedar Rapids in Cedar Rapids visitors. Gene Hansen hosted Perry Friends club Thursday. David Swanson and families visited Felix Jelinek in Wakefield Nebr, a heart patient. Glen Hakeman and family plan to move to Danbury Iowa. he will teach commercial and social studies. Joyce Swindle of Le Mars is his wife.
