Superintendent E D Archambault announced the Le Mars community schools have almost filled all teaching positions for the 1960-61 year. He stated only one oral teacher remains to be contracted and expects full cabancy before school start.
The Le Mars Community High School announces Dale Johnson elected as guidance director replacing Wesley Tellinghuisen who will seek a new school position. Johnson, previously at West Union, has led a notable personal vocational and educational guidance program including a student loan fund of 1400 dollars in three years. Archambault notes hope to start a similar fund locally. Other staff members retain current positions.
The Tri-State Conference tennis champions were Midland with the doubles team of Jim Flynn and Dick Johnson defeating Westmar pair Jim Stradinger and Norm Walker in the final. Midland also topped golf with 324 strokes to Westmar 334 and Dana 336, while Tom Benson of Midland earned the season's medalist honors with a 73. Conference action expands to football basketball baseball and track as the 1961 school year approaches.
Dana and Midland each captured titles in the Tri-State conference meet with strong showings in track, golf, and tennis. Results list Dana at 104 points followed by Yankton 104, Midland 104, Sioux Falls 38, and Westmar in the standings.
Mr M J Framberger General Manager of the American Dairy Association will speak to the Iowa Beef Producers commodity promotion at their Annual Meeting in Ames on May 25. Framberger began his career in 1941 with a Baché.
From grass roots dairy and farming roots in Wisconsin to state membership director in 1949, Framberger advanced to manager of the Wisconsin unit and then general manager of the National American Dairy Association in 1956. He guided advertising, merchandising, research, and public relations to grow dairy markets.
The Stanton Lucky Clover club met at Rogery Schultz's home. The session opened with the pledge to the flag and included reading the secretary and treasurer reports. A committee was formed to create fair posters, including Tom Fisch, Roger Schultz, Bill Miller, Don Denis ton, and Dan Ruhland.

The LWML has been organized internationally since 1942 and has about 190 000 members in Cuba South America Mexico and Germany. The league’s sole purpose is missionary work with three main objectives: missionary education inspiration and service.
Miss Karen Britton and students at Nebraska State Teachers College, Wayne, Nebraska, attend a gathering marking her party in the home of Miss Britton. The event references George Brit and local community members in attendance.
