Announcement of the marriage of Miss June Phillips daughter of Mr and Mrs C I Phillips Kingsley to Sergeant Sept Francis Hallmaier of Waterloo Iowa. The ceremony occurred in Georgia in September last year. Mrs Hallmaier is a Kingsley High School and Jennie Edmundson Nursing School graduate and has worked in a Waterloo hospital for months.
Plymouth county cattle sold at the extreme top of the midweek trade at the Chicago Stock yards. Harvey Muecke, well known feeder of top quality cattle, led the market with cattle commanding the top price of 17.60 per unit.
A Dated Wednesday sale featured a 40 head consignment of Herefords from Mr. Muecke's farm near Hinton. The cattle averaged 1302 pounds each, with the day’s top price reaching 17.60 dollars per cwt.
