Sailor Returns on Nine Day Leave From Great Lakes

Petty officer Herman R. Risch six arrived Tuesday night to spend a nine day leave with relatives in Union Township. He is the son of Rein hard and Mrs. Fischer. He was accompanied home by his wife, a file clerk in Montgomery Ward’s retail department in Chicago. The Fischers previously lived in Marcus, where he worked as a carpenter, before enlisting in the naval reserve last December. Mrs. Elmer Fischer and children Russell and Beverly of Cherokee were visitors at the Fischer home Wednesday evening. Mrs. John Langendorfer owns an unusual necklace of sea shells and seeds sent with two sewing baskets.
