Moving Around Maurice Families Change Homes This Week
Special correspondent reports several area families relocating near Maurice during the past week. The Orin Van Speran family moves to a George area farm, while Peter Mulder and Tim Buckley relocate to the former Mulder place near Struble. Van Speran’s former farm is taken by the Mulders, and Vander Poppe shifts from near Maurice to an Orange City acreage. Other moves include Den Ouden near Ireton, Schofield to the Den Ouden site, Westhuis into Schofield’s house, and Van Iperan and Kluis families swapping into new farms near Orange City and Middleburg. Vander Wiede family leaves Maurice area for work at Farmer’s Elevator. Kuiken rents their vacated farm with Mars hired from Sanborn.
