A children day program at Melbourne Evangelical church on Sunday June 26 at 10. Rev and Mrs Kaupp attended the W M S meeting at Mrs George Schulz home Kerry Creek. Junior Hartman returned from Minnesota visiting relatives. Mr and Mrs Martin Wecker visited their daughter in Sioux City. Bernice Winter returned home from hospital in Sioux City.

Iane Houston came back from Sioux City. Marie McCrory homeward from Washington after Mrs Sam McCrory’s death. Braband family from Merrill visited the Braband matriarch. Louis Braaks underwent kidney surgery in Sioux City and is recovering. A fine son arrived June 10 at Buel Cotten’s in Huron, mother Miss Lila Woodall. Families attended reunions at parks and Clear Lake. First band concert directed by Keith VandeWater. Harry Johnson celebrated a birthday with a social visit and birthday supper. Attendees listed incl Louise Hunter and others. Harold Smith visiting from Rapid City. Death noted for W E Simons, Marcus, father of M O Simons.

Vincent Lewis John Werley and Willie Lang are among Struble businessmen purchasing new cars. Mrs 7 A Edwards of Los Angeles arrived for a month long visit with Mrs Nellie Edwards and the Ben Nicholson home. Mr and Mrs Frank Long heard of their granddaughter's death, the two year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Ray Diller, at a Marshalltown hospital. funeral was held Tuesday with burial there.
