Two Cars Collide At Junction Near Mars In 1956

At the June 24 junction of 33 and 75 near Mars two vehicles traveling west collided after one slowed. Kaihleen of Min.al was driving west. Hynes driving another car. Both cars suffered minor damage with about ten dollars estimated.

Youth Still In Hospital After Wreck

Marvin Kowalke son of Herman Kowalke of Kingsley remains in fair condition at Sacred Heart Hospital after a Sunday morning one car rollover into a ditch one mile west of Union Consolidated School. He was thrown from the vehicle while a passenger named Gettner, not hurt, was nearby with the Gettner family.
