Mr and Mrs Larsen visited Nebraska over the weekend. Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Arthur Baker married in Chicago on June 1. Mrs Baker is Florence Hoekstra, daughter of Mr and Mrs John Hoekstra of this city. Mr and Mrs Sam Wynna and children of Hadley visited Henry Wieger over the weekend. Mr and Mrs Wallace Verburg left Friday for Iowa City for summer school at Iowa University. Mr and Mrs Will Korver and son of Orange City were Sunday upper guests in Henry Vlieger s home.

McDougall family and Mrs. Orpha Noble attended Presbyterian Sunday school picnic at Riversioux Thursday. Mrs. Roy Deegan attended alumni banquet at St Mary’s Alton Sunday night. Carl Albers' birthday celebration drew many friends and family Thursday for his mother Mrs T M Albers’ 98th birthday. Albers remains active and wished many more birthdays. John Mieras family went to Storm Lake Saturday for Standard Oil picnic. Alfred Albers received word Saturday her brother Wilbert Trafton was operated on for ulcers in a Klamath Falls hospital, in critical condition.
