Seventeen Graduates in LeMars High School Program
Seventeen diplomas were awarded to the Class of 1902 at LeMars High School during an evening program in the opera house. The event featured essays, musical numbers, and remarks by Superintendent Pref. Bigelow. Students wore white costumes and displayed the class flower, the American bean, with selections by the high school chorus and performances reflecting patriotism and progress.

Death of Mrs Knipe at GeMars ott area
Mrs Joli Koipeg died at her home south of GeMars ott Friday. She was about seventy six, married to John Knipe two and a half years ago. Two children died in infancy. Funeral at St Josephs church Monday, interment in St Josephs cemetery. She was daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter Calling of Leslars. Lee Court CO I members to attend, pallbearers chosen from the order.
