Dave Flannigan, famed rifle shot, will present a June 18 exhibition at the LeMars rifle range at 2:30 p.m. He plans to shoot through washers tossed in the air, six targets at once, with stickers over holes to prove the stunt. High Wind Wrecks Farm at Kingsley
A storm near Kingsley on Tuesday night destroyed all buildings on a farm six miles southwest of town except the house of William Creasy. Tenants Howard Bleil reported the wind ripped roofs from barns, cattle sheds, corn crib and hen house blew over. Pigs died, trees uprooted, and telegraph and electric poles toppled. Dam age ran to dollars with accompanying rain and lightning.
