Harvey Scecker and son Eugene were dinner guests at Bill Eberle home Sunday. August Kruse and daughter Hilda shopped in Sioux City Friday. Darrell and Vernon McNaughton Albert Ernest and Bud Wiener spent Sunday at Leeds. Mrs Harold Bornholtz and daughter visited George Junck home during the week.
Westfield residents A A Martin and family visited Mission Hill relatives on Wednesday. Word arrived here of George Feauto’s death at Elk Point, formerly depot agent. Mrs. F Waterbury hosted St Catherine’s Guild. Akron guests C Burris and W Hoschler visited. Rev and Mrs Dittmers and daughter left for York after a three week stay with O B Lilly. The J W Hummer family have moved or left town.
OYENS special correspondent reports Eldon Kelly fractured his chin and right arm when he slipped and fell while visiting his grandparents Mr and Mrs George Kelly. Mrs L Singer of LeMars visited Friday with Millie and Francis Binger. Mrs Will Stoewer and daughter Gladys of Stanton visited Mrs Con Kohl Wednesday afternoon.
