Special correspondent reports a weekend outing at Riverview park by Mr. and Mrs. Omer Ritchie and their son Darrell with Mrs. Clifford Bray. Wilson Geary had a tonsil and adenoid operation in Le Mars. Mrs. Miles Reints and Mrs. Matilda Berner and Vera visited Mrs. Walter Kehrberg. Frank Holzmann bought a new Chevrolet sedan. Mrs. John Grimjes and Mrs. Ray Berner hosted a gathering for Mrs. Clarence Knapp and Mrs. Evelyn Jones, with a two course luncheon. Earnest Hauswald and family visited at Nic Wilhelmi home. O W Weidauer had hogs at Sioux City market. Mrs. Alvin Flick of Chicago arrived to visit her Hoffmann relatives. A large family reunion and picnic were held at Ed Knapp home for Clarence Knapp and family of Anaheim California.

Mr and Mrs Walter Druscher and family motor to Yankton to visit the Guerney feed and radio station. Mrs Reynold Jensen and baby and Arnold Jensen of Tyler Minnesota were Sunday guests at the D R Stewart home. This was the first opportunity to meet the Stewart's new great granddaughter. Victor Wheeler of South Dakota visited friends here early week. Mr and Mrs John Viotho Sr and son returned from Lincoln Nebraska after a few days. Mrs L L Smith and children from Gregory South Dakota stayed a week with relatives. Harry Johnson and children motored to Yankton for a visit at the Gurney seed station. Mr and Mrs Joe Jones and Mr and Mrs C C Wills and daughter Belinah left for Dallas South Dakota to visit relatives. Earnest Ganey returned from Marion South Dakota. Ganey is reported to be undergoing goiter treatment. Mr and Mrs Martin Cuperus motored to Hull Wednesday. Elmer Satterlee of Blue Earth Minnesota visited here.
