Local Social Notes From Cherokee Residents Gatherings

Mrs Crocker and Mrs Mary Casa visited friends in Cherokee three days last week. Dr and Mrs George Carey and daughter of Bancroft Neb are spending the week visiting relatives here. Mrs Alice Kolb returned home from Parker D D where she has been visiting her son and daughter for six weeks. William Mueller was taken to Sacred Heart hospital Friday for appendicitis operation with slight improvement reported. Mrs Roy Helfenstein and two daughters of Dover Delaware arrived to spend the summer with Mary Bass. Miss Marie Miller had a tonsil operation at the German Lutheran hospital in Sioux City Saturday. Mrs Ju Allen of Nevada Iowa returned home after visiting daughter Mrs L Albaurd.
