The Plymouth County board of supervisors Iowa will meet April 4 1941 at 2 PM at the Court House LeMars for taxpayers to be heard for or against the proposed expenditures for the fiscal year starting January 1 1942. L A Ludwig County Auditor.

From rage 1 containea death in 1920 she lived in the Ovens vicinity most of her life. Survived by husband Will five brothers John and three sisters Mrs Reichling Mrs Fiedler and Mrs Scheidtler all of this community. Preceded in death by one son her father one sister and one brother Charles twin sister died in 1905 at 19. Member of the Christian Mother Society. Passing mourned by family and a large circle of friends.
Brunsville by special correspondent reports Mrs Louie Thunhorst of near Sioux Falls S D stayed in Bills Johnson home and Bobbie Thunhorst of Sioux Falls S D stayed last week. Duke Huckle left for Camp Claiborne La after four weeks with the Al Huckle home. Miss Shirley Rowe spent last week with friends in LeMars. Rev and Mrs Schempp and family of Alta Vista Iowa, former pastor here, visited last week. Mrs John Plaezer and daughter of Los Angeles Calif left
Last week residents hosted relatives and friends. Mr and Mrs Herman Hilers and Sam Hilers of near LeMars visited the Gert Leibens over Sunday. Darrel Luken of Westfield spent Monday with friends in Brunsville.
The Craig town council met Monday evening to approve the budget for the coming year and handle routine business. The report notes social visits and small gatherings, including Miss Gertrude Voelker from Ames and local residents hosting or attending various suppers and celebrations. Will Schwier hosted visitors from Sioux City for a family celebration.
Fredonia residents Reverend Henry Perry of Indiana visited cousins Frank Perry and Mrs. Lou Bouma Thursday for a family picnic supper at Frank Perry’s home. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Juhl and Ei leen from near Marcus helped celebrate the birthdays of Mrs. Tina Miller and Mrs. Harry Walinga Wednesday evening at C. P. Klos ter’s home. Ray Bogh hauled hogs to Sioux City for Frank Weber Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kildahl and Edwin from Marinetta Wisconsin visited Mrs. J. P. Larson and family. Miss Irene Petersen of Sioux
The week end visit included discussions among farm families as Henry Bos and Dick Drost own a threshing machine recently purchased while Niels and Morten Mortensen bought a combine for grain harvest. Mr and Mrs Nis Kloster and family, Mr and Mrs Frank Geet, and others from Union attended a social meeting with Axel Woodrow and Blanche as Saturday supper guests.
