Special Correspondent reports a county sequence of visitors and local events in Kingsley Kingsley area with notes on residents such as Gerd Ludwig elected Grant No. 2 school board president, cattle shipments, hospitalizations, family visits, accidents, birthday celebrations, and community updates across Sioux City LeMars and Remsen. Names include A P Noble, Charles, Otto Ludwig, Dick Frerichs, Adolph Johannsen, W H Trafton, and many others.
In the Con gregational church service Kingsley youths reported on the C B conference at Okoboji with George Wormley reading scripture Rev Schroeder singing a solo and Donald Ogren leading prayer The reports drew praise for their instructive value Kingsley earned second in baseball and first in volleyball and stunts plus the loving cup for gain-
Busy haymaking weather prevails in the South Lincoln neighborhood. Mrs. Wallace Robinson is ill. Fred Krause and David Saunders left for Kansas City, Missouri. Miss Mabel Swanson of Sioux City visited Mrs. P. D. McNaughton. The Barnholtzs of Leeds spent Sunday with Geo. Junck. North Lincoln defeated Standard Clothing of Sioux City 20 to 3 in a ball game. Mrs. Mary McNaughton of Movilie visited her daughter, Mrs. Ira Sager. Victor Harrison and family hosted a Lansing, Michigan cousin last week. Lester Sager, who joined the navy last fall, is visiting home. John Goldsmith called on Sioux City on Monday. Schoolhouses in the township are being painted. A. A. Trug farm residence carpenters finished, painters at work, expected ready next week. John Kempe vaccinated hogs for several farmers.
JREton F F Karringer returned Monday from a short outing at Spirit Lake. Valley ladies circle met at the home of Mrs. Martin Dykshorn last Friday afternoon for a routine business session and social time.
Preston township residents report a busy week with visits to Ben Toe home and Mike Eilers place. Local travelers include Johnsons Brunsville, Borchers LeMars, Plueger Sioux City shoppers, and Brunken digging at Fred Plueger. A festival drew a large crowd while Merrill pool outing provided Sunday leisure.
REMSEN Mr and Mrs Henry Ahman of St Cloud Minn came to Remsen for a few days visit at the home of their parents Mr and Mrs J T Victor and Mr and Mrs Henry Ahman Sr Geo Kieffer of Sioux City was in Remsen on business Friday J Mueller and Ed Kehner of Marcus were Remsen visitors on Friday Mr and Mrs Mike Frank went to Colton SD to be at the bedside of Mr Frank s sister Mrs Laura Egan who is very ill John Bentz Orlando Frank and H Tritz left Wednesday for a trip through the Black Hills and Yellowstone park Hubert Ritz has been quite in the past week and unable to work on account of an attack of kidney trouble Ray Faber of Remsen has accepted a position with the National Bank of the Republic at Chicago Mr Faber has had considerable experience having formerly been connected with the First National Bank at LeMars Henry Johnson now in charge of the tank deliveries for the Remsen Tank Line Company dealers in gas and oil Mr Johnson succeeds Edwin Holt Grove who has severed connections with the company Mr and Mrs L M Carpenter arrived home Sunday after a week s visit with his parents at Hatline SD Mr and Mrs J Hecker of Wynot

Minnie Borchers visited near Hawarden while Tillie Seibens and Tena Johnson shopped in LeMars. A large crowd readied to River Sioux for a trip. Henry Evald plans a move to Illinois.
Martin Johnson, a Brunaville resident, joined Endwiga and daughter Ma Ioan Doering on a Thursday trip to Ireton to visit relatives. The outing highlights a church and community news feel with a small-town refrain.
Alex McArthur and Mrs T J Rees visited Sioux City last Saturday. Mr and Mrs W A Ewin and family visited relatives in Austin Minnesota last week. Rev L B Wardle and Miss Joyce Wardle shared a picnic with Mr and Mrs Geo Reichert of Le Mars. Mrs Richard Hawking returned from Mitchell South Dakota after a visit with her daughter. Lester Riter and son Chas of Rock Rapids visited his brother Dr H Ritter en route to Cherokee golf tournament. Mrs Grant Chapman and Misses Chapman and Kennedy toured Sheldon and lakes with the McArthur family for a weekend trip returning Monday. Mrs Henry Darville of LeMars visited Sunday with her daughter.
The Oyens town council of Plymouth County Iowa will meet July 28 1926 at 7 p m in the Town Hall. Taxpayers may be heard for or against the proposed expenditure estimate.
