Busy haymaking weather prevails in the South Lincoln neighborhood. Mrs. Wallace Robinson is ill. Fred Krause and David Saunders left for Kansas City, Missouri. Miss Mabel Swanson of Sioux City visited Mrs. P. D. McNaughton. The Barnholtzs of Leeds spent Sunday with Geo. Junck. North Lincoln defeated Standard Clothing of Sioux City 20 to 3 in a ball game. Mrs. Mary McNaughton of Movilie visited her daughter, Mrs. Ira Sager. Victor Harrison and family hosted a Lansing, Michigan cousin last week. Lester Sager, who joined the navy last fall, is visiting home. John Goldsmith called on Sioux City on Monday. Schoolhouses in the township are being painted. A. A. Trug farm residence carpenters finished, painters at work, expected ready next week. John Kempe vaccinated hogs for several farmers.
