Mayor Linden fined Mrs Heiderton dollars and costa on Friday morning remitting nine dollars of the fine on the promise she would remain on her own premises and not converse with neighbors involved in the trouble. Linden urged neighbors to stop provoking Mrs Heider or they would face fines.
In a mayor court case heard this week Mrs Catherine Heider faced charges of obscene language while lashing her son Mars tin. City Attorney Keenan and Mr F M Roseberry led the defense as witnesses from both sides described a neighborhood dispute with mutual coarse language and physical scuffles, ending with the mayor taking the case under advisement.

Mrs. Michael Keenan and her year old babe narrowly escaped serious injury in a buggy runaway near the Robert Steele place south of Le Mars Wednesday at about 7 pm. The horse bolted, throwing them out. the baby suffered a forehead cut and injuries to a leg and arm, while Mrs. Keenan endured shock and fright. They were taken to the Steele home for care, then to LeMars to live with the baby’s grandfather, Math Welter, for a few days. The buggy had only a broken spoke. the harness remained intact.
The Carnival association executive committee set September 4 to 8 for the carnival, stressing Labor Day as a centerpiece to boost attendance and business. They contracted Cosmopolitan Carnival Company with 75 000 capital, a 16 car special train, 20 piece band, giant steam calliope, and its own $10 000 electric plant. The firm promises nine big attractions, some free, all morally conducted, with no pamphleting in tents. I B Garner traveled to Rochester Minnesota to arrange summer carnival supply. Local papers praise the company slated to perform in LeMars this year.
Miss Mabel Shepard aged twenty seven dies at her mother's home on Wifth street following a six month illness. Born in Primghar she taught for seven years as East Sioux Falls principal before illness prompted travel to Colorado for recovery. Funeral held at home, Rev. Parker Smith officiating, burial in Primghar. Several relatives from Sioux Falls and Redwood Falls joined the funeral party.
Marie Henullen died at her Liberty township home after a brief pneumonia, following illness since the birth of her child four months ago. She was 28, daughter of Mr and Mrs Jacob Braun of LeMars, wife of the husband and mother of a four month old baby. Funeral at Hiendale Catholic church conducted by Rev Father Peter J Connolly.
