Leo Halwey family spent the 4th with George Renken in Sioux City. Alice Deegan from Riverside California arrived for a visit and is an instructor there. Glenn Peebles, Great Northern railroad employee at Garretson South Dakota, visited the area.
Friends spent Thursday in Rock Valley with Mr and Mrs Otto Kallsen and Mr and Mrs Roy Sampson and Miss Virginia Sampson. Mrs Martin Jennings and children visited Sioux City on Monday. Mr and Mrs Oscar Mentzer and family spent Sunday there. Mr and Mrs entertained two families Tuesday evening honoring Mrs A M Anderson and Miss Alice Deegan of 145 who are visiting here.
