Federal agents seized two cars south of Le Mars near Sioux City. Four men gave the name John Smith from LeMars and 19 gallons of whisky were found. One unoccupied coupe at 1209 Dace Avenue held two gallons of moonshine. Cars were registered to F E Smith of Sioux City. Names and addresses reported fictitious.
Emma Eberhard formerly Tullis of Merrill marries William B. Price of Anaheim Calif at White Temple Methodist church. The ceremony followed morning worship with music by the bride’s daughter in law Mrs Mabel Eberhard. The couple will reside in Anaheim with the husband owning the apartment on South Olive street. The bride moved to Merrill five years ago to be near her sons Wesley Eberhard of Anaheim and Emery Eberhard of Yucca.
Arthur Eberhard of Fuller Park Mias Ferne Eberhard of Los Angeles welcomed a daughter. All were present for the wedding. The Community Inn advertises a comfortable lobby for after meals or lunches, countering the eat and run notion.

A hard rain moved through the region with little hail or rain in Washta. Cherokee saw a hard rain with little damage nearby. Storm Lake and Alta reported heavy rainfall, while gardens across the section were destroyed.
