C Bryant an early Akron merchant and former mayor passed away Sunday in Vermillion South Dakota at age 86. He served in the Dakota legislature and held other offices, moved to Vermillion about 42 years ago, and was active in politics business and church lodges. Survived by sons Fred of Mitchell and another merchant at Platte with a daughter Mrs Marie Dwell of Sion Falls, services held at Vermillion with interment there.

Elmer Kilker veteran mail carrier of LeMars announced he has received official notice from the postoffice department confirming a trade with a rural carrier from Ulysses Ned. Kilker begins his 21st year as a city carrier and cites foot problems. Bradley will move to LeMars as Kilker trades routes. Kilker began in the east end, then the northwest, serving faithfully for 20 years and his patrons regret the Kilker family departure.

Fred W. Swolley formerly of Westfield was found dead by hanging in a closet at 319 W Fifth Street Sioux City Saturday after his father P H Swolley and Wayne Colton gained access with a ladder. Coroner says suicide using electric cord to a clothes pole. note addressed to his wife Frances asked not to tell the kids. Swolley, born August 13 1904 in Sioux City, is survived by Frances, a son Fred Jr and a daughter Geraldine, his parents and brother Joseph.

William Workman 72 retired Correctionville farmer died Thursday night in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness. He lived in Correctionville 40 years and is survived by his widow Ludh and five children Earl Edith Coon Alvin Florence Cart Grace Smith a sister Minnie Parker and a brother John. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 pm in Correctionville with burial there.

Lowell Younie and Henry Rue ther of Le Mars found an unconscious man with a probable skull injury at Third and Water streets in Sioux City. The victim, about 42 and thought to be from Kansas City, was taken to St Vincent's hospital and has been in a coma. Charles H. Deegan Rites Scheduled at St James Church
Funeral services for William K E Deegan of LeMars will be held Wednesday at nine in the morning at St James Catholic church with Rev L J Cooper presiding.
