Le Mars Oldest Paying Parade Marks Jubilee Celebration
The city hosts Fourth of July and Independence Day parades with multiple units from Le Mars and surrounding towns. Eleven thousand copies of the Welcome to Le Mars supplement were published for the Daily Sentinel Globe Post and Floyd Valley News from 04 to 64. About 7,000 copies were mailed today with regular editions. Additional copies may be bought for 10 cents at the Daily Sentinel office. The supplement prints in Worthington Daily Globe on an offset press, similar to the Sentinel’s new press on order.
