Le Mars Iowa city council met on December 2 1935 with Mayor Grimjes presiding. Members Beck er Steele Merritt Boyd present. Hentges absent. Minutes approved and treasury and clerk reports read and approved. Council recommended reducing Ida B Zink assessment from 20000 to 14000. Allen Wernl appointed to fire department. Ordinance 218 setting sanitary health rules for beauty shops passed and published. Finance committee warrants audited and paid. Numerous mayoral and social notices follow.
