Angelbert Christian Oggel of Orange City died January 6 1945 from coronary occlusion. Born in Holland Michigan April 13 1871 he lived in Kalamazoo and Orange City before moving to Pella Iowa. He studied at Northwestern Classical Academy and Iowa State College Ames. He taught at Orange City Academy then served as Sioux County District Court clerk elected 1894 1896. He married Lulu C Robinson October 19 1897 and they raised three children. The obituary lists his extended family and notes services held at St Marys and related memorials.
