W F Blakeway wed in Chicago, wearing a red gown with white lace over satin and a short train. The couple's reception followed at the church parlors, with Martha Page and Ada Blakeway pouring, and guests then moved to the bride's home to view gifts before leaving for their honeymoon.
The bride, a Des Plaines township high school and Northwestern University alumna now teaching in her hometown, marries a Calumet school graduate with a University of Chicago science degree and laboratory work at Herzl junior college.
