Saloon Break-In on Sixth Street Reported
The saloon of Wm. Colling on Sixth street was broken into between 11 PM Wednesday and 5 AM Thursday, with seventeen dollars stolen from an unlocked cash register. Colling suspects only cash was taken after thieves entered by forcing the front door. Similar break ins occurred at Sauter meat market Nick Wester’s saloon and Kehrberg Schneider Market. A vaudeville show by Wenforth Barnes is announced for Emity Theatre next week.

Primghar yesterday held a special election to grant the Sioux City and Spirit Lake Railway Company street railway interurban and electric lighting franchises for twenty five years. Only one vote opposed the proposition as farmers along the line pledge right of way to finance the project.
