Funeral services set for Henry Koopman in Remsen

Funeral services for Henry Koopman 61 lifelong Plymouth resident who died Saturday will be held at 10:00 a m Tuesday January 4 at St Marys Old Church Remsen. Burial will be in St Josephs Cemetery Remsen under direction of the Remsen funeral home. Koopman born March 18 1887 in Le Mars farmed here many years retired and moved one. Survivors include two brothers Emil Le Mars and three sisters Molly Remsen Mrs Waldschmidt Remsen and Beare Bortscheller Garang.

Granville Woman Dies After Long Illness at 69

Anville resident Mike Goergen reports the Granville community mourns the death of a long time resident born in Gundorf Luxemburg on March 8 1879. She came to the United States eight decades ago and lived in Granville since February 7 1910. Survived by five sons Joe Norbert Leo Mond and Marcel Ann and Otto two daughters Jo Schumacher and Nick Schumacher and several grandchildren. Funeral services held at St Josephs Catholic Church with burial in the parish cemetery. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. Prior husband M. Mike Preen. Several siblings and relatives mourn the loss.

The groom is a Denver High School graduate and former U S Navy service member. They will live in Denver after January.
