Local residents attended John Plueger’s birthday with a large gathering including the Wilam Plueger family and many neighbors. Mrs Orpha Noble and Mrs John McDonvgall visited Plymouth sid at church parlors Thursday afternoon. Mrs A J Thomas entertained. LeRoy Edwards of Sioux City called on relatives Thursday. John McDougall and Raymond John McDougall noted.
Albers drove to Cherokee on Saturday for rheumatism treatment. Clifford Noble and Dale Noble visited Sioux City on Thursday. Miss Emma Frerida helped with the Le Mars Westhoff home. Irene Noble of Wayne Nebraska stayed here over the weekend. T. J. McFarland and son Ralph from Wagner visited for business. Irene and Dale Noble joined the Friendship club Friday night. Rev and Mrs W Smith hosted guests including Mr and Mrs Dick Frerichs Lavonne and George Jr. Brunaville relatives spent Sunday with them. M A Cass of Le Mars joined eight o'clock dinner at Wm Nicholson’s Monday.

Mrs Rose Jackson née Joatman a former Le Mars resident died January 21 in Sioux City at age 49. Funeral was at St Joseph Catholic Church Le Mars with burial in St Joseph's Cemetery. Survived by husband William Jackson two sons Marvid and Raymond two daughters Mildred and Mrs Cecil Watte, father A L Joatman of Le Mars, brother William Jackson of Le Mars and sisters Mrs John Stenger of Bertha Minn and Mrs Armand Weis of Sanhorn, Iowa.
