It notes a 100 Per Cent club member and a high school party, field trips, and Christmas vacation from Dec 20 to Jan 6 1936 with wishes for Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Central Building reports Christmas activities across grades. Kindergarten notes Donald Luken moving to Clark school next week. Rosemary Van Voorst and Dorothy Vaughn join. festive decorating and two songs. First through fifth grades describe letters to Santa, a student story, a Mikado outing, and plans for upcoming Christmas programs in the junior high auditorium. Parents invited to performances and invitations prepared for families.

Sixth graders decorate trees and collect toys for charity while first and second graders craft decorations and prepare for a Christmas program. Fourth and fifth graders study Arabia and Bedouin life, reading letters and writing stories, with teachers noting attendance and new pupils arriving from other districts.

In geography tent the B and A grades went to Marjorie Whitney Lois Hilers Puane Trometer Jack Trometer Jack Roberta Lary Mel s and Warren Hardacre for British possessions in Asia. History high scorers were Larry Mele Marjorie Whitney Betty Reviney and Loia Wilers.
Western Union College announces Christmas recess to begin at noon with classes resuming Monday January 6. Many students will remain locally. a Christmas party at Werin hall featured Paul Beckman as Santa and carols. Prof H A Smith supervised activities. Prof B F Zuehl attended a Des Moines Iowa conference meeting noting football schedules, no championships, and a likely track meet at Simpson College. Iowa college field meet set for May 15 and 16, 1936.
Elgin reports list Raymond Jackson and Mrs Jackson of Sioux City visiting W P Justman home Sunday. LeRoy Albert returned to Los Angeles after a month with W E Albert and Clarence Albert. Brother John Pecore accompanied him to plan a western winter stay. Rev and Mrs George Dunp of Ida Grove joined the local family for a Saturday supper in W E seven.
