Bert Howard and family visited here on day. Ivan and Lyle Day, sons of Mr and Mrs Ross Day of Le Mars, were guests at the home of their grandmother Mrs E R Day. The Boys are stationed with company 14th Infantry at Bismark N Day. Mr and Mrs Albert Hughes welcomed a daughter Saturday Dec 11 weighing 9 pounds, greeted by four sisters and two brothers. Mr and Mrs John Parents and children drove to Akron Sunday to visit friends. Ellen and Velda White of Sheldon spent the weekend with kin. Epworth League held a Christmas party at church parlors Monday evening.

Mike Eilers returned from LeMars hospital after facial disorder treatment. Mr and Mrs Grant Hanstein and Mr and Mrs Henry Baack Sr were visitors to Sioux City.
