Wells Run Dry Near Ireton

Snow and colder weather over the weekend left cisterns and wells dry. C B Houston reports both stock wells in his area are dry. he is digging another in a neighbor’s field. Ireton High School won two basketball games over Maurice High on home floor, 22 to 15, with standout players Karr and Brown for Ireton and Ellen and Ard for Maurice. The Ireton second team defeated Maurice 31 to 2.
