Mrs Bliss Dies in Westfield Funeral Services Held
Mrs J C Bliss of Westfield died at her home Sunday. Funeral services were Tuesday at 2 p m in the Congregational church in Westfield. Survived by husband, one son Roy two daughters Mrs A W Hummel and Mrs Wayne Lilly all of Westfield seven sisters also surviving. Home Project Meetings Highlight Local Cookery Lesson
The first annual home project meeting for America and Washington townships convened at the Gabel home on Tuesday October 15 with ten ladies present. The lesson taught by Ralph Gabel focused on cookery of new vegetables. The second meeting occurred on Tuesday December 10 at the Ed Howes home starting at 10 o clock with ladies bringing a covered dish. The America-Washington project gathered again at the Kid Howen home to study the object lesson on rejection of kitchen utensils.
