Ireton Girl to Play in Hoover Inaugural Band

Glenn Campbell son of Mr and Mrs George Campbell cashier of Ireton Security Bank will play in the Coe College band at the Hoover inauguration next March. A Coe sophomore he was injured last spring when a pole vault broke. He is a 1927 Ireton High School graduate and recently participated in Thanksgiving services.

LeMars residents attend bazaar and visitors gather

Theo. Love of LeMars visited with local business folk on Tuesday. Elgin Nebraska guests Mrs. James Alderson spent ten weeks in Darlington Wisconsin before joining family here. A large Ladies Aid bazaar and supper drew many, with music by local and visiting performers. Several families from LeMars and nearby towns stopped by for the event and Sunday visits followed.
