Letter seeks kin of Omaha woman found dead
The Globe Post received a letter from Mrs Ida Lulter of Omaha stating a young married woman named Katherine Gibson was found dead on August 8 at Lier Grand hostel. The missive claimed the deceased's maiden name was Learing and included a photo group to identify relatives. The dead woman was sister of Bea Learing, formerly local and now in Yankton. The coroner was notified by wire and given the relatives' address. The deceased had lived in the area about five years.

They may settle in Seattle or nearby, with Mr Sammis leaving his Sioux City job to pursue business on the coast. They will depart around October first and be missed socially and commercially. Otto Goettel survived a runaway accident when a horse blitzed the wagon narrowly missing him, sustaining bruises but escaping serious harm.
