Huge Free Camp at State Fair in Des Moines
Des Moines officials announced a huge free camp to serve more than 25 000 visitors during the Iowa State Fair from August 27 to September 3. The 120 acre general camp will include a trailer camp, city like layout with weather roads electric lights water service showers police and fire departments post office and sanitary facilities. A Farm Bureau section will group campers by county and a midwest trailer reunion is planned for 1937. Trailer hookups and reduced price multi day tickets will be offered and organizers expect the camp to be the largest in the Midwest this summer with more than 25 000 campers.

Plane crash witnesses link to Craig disaster
