Death Calls Two Former Ireton Pioneer Settlers Treton Ia
Mrs. B T Goodmanson of Treton received word Saturday of the death of her father George Ehlers 80 of Tinley Park Illinois following a lingering cancer illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday and interment was in Tinley Park. Born in Marshall County Iowa in 1860 he lived there until marriage to Fannie Walken. The couple later farmed in the county before moving to Tinley Park where he resided the last 17 years. Survivors include Mrs Goodmanson and several children led by Paulina, Harry, Charles, and others in Ireton and California.
