H J Ludwigs prep truck for summer route. H F Ludwig to drive truck again. Jean Peebles Struble visited Craig. Henry Luschen visited relatives at Egan South Dakota.

Frank Freiberg, who underwent an operation in the Veterans hospital at Des Moines, returned to his home on Saturday. Mr and Mrs Norman Heeren, Mrs John Borchers, Mrs Albert Heeren and Lucille were Monday visitors in Salem and other points in South Dakota. Mr and Mrs John Marienau and Mr and Mrs Carl Ahrendt were Monday evening visitors in the Henry Marienau home. Sunday afternoon visitors in the George Borchers home near Merrill were Mr and Mrs J D Hauschild and family. A number from here attended the LeMars high school music pupils concert on Tuesday evening. Visitors in the Frank Freiberg home on Sunday evening were Mr and Mrs Henry Siebels and Mr and Mrs Dick Frerichs. Mr and Mrs Frey Plueger and family were visitors in the Albert Heeren home on Sunday afternoon.
Mr and Mrs Stow of Climbing Hill Iowa visited their family. Carl Frerichs and John Carl were supper guests of Mr and Mrs Martin Rosburg in Liberty township last Tuesday. Ruth Ann Gibbons of Perry township had mastoid operation in a Sioux City hospital recently. Dorothy Howes purchased a new car recently. C W Crouch visited his parents in LeMars. Norma Lottenba of Sioux City spent a night as overnight guest of high school friend Gladys Vondrak Martin Ewanson and daughter Hazel, visiting relatives in Luck Wisconsin Minneapolis and Peoria before returning home Tuesday evening. Robert Bonn and Mrs Beeek Miller were among local contacts during the trip.
