Spring Music Festival at Franklin Clark and Central Schools
Carey Gymnasium hosted a Spring Festival Tuesday night featuring first to third grade pupils from Clark Franklin and Le Mars Central. LCHS junior Pat Murphy has been selected as a Hawkeye Girls State nominee to be held at Iowa State University. Four top junior girls were chosen for leadership, character, and health assessments and interviewed by the local American Legion Auxiliary.

Musicians To State Contest At Milford Iowa
Read aloud at Milford Iowa three groups from LCHS showcased at the Class A Large Group State Music Contest. The Bulldog concert band performed Concertino by Fritz Welke under Joe Brice with multiple solo passages. The a capella choir and girls glee club also performed, with pieces including Nightfall in Skye Summer Day and Sing Praises. The event drew competing schools and featured non partisan civic lessons with sponsorship by the American Legion Auxiliary.
