Plymouth County Board Bans Starlings Bounty 1939
Plymouth County Iowa Board of Supervisors, including Chairman Grimjes and Supervisors Twogood and Schulte, voted to discontinue the starling bounty effective April 1 1939 due to rising costs. They also adopted a resolution to assign a deposit claim against Farmers Savings Bank of Struble to the State Sinking Fund and approved several county expense payments and contracts.
