Tony Durband died Saturday morning at about 4 oclock at age 16 after a three year illness from an injured knee. Funeral services were at the Catholic church Monday at 10. The bereaved family expresses sympathy. a full write up will appear next issue. Various local residents visited Struble and Sioux City, with notes on travel, stock moving, and community events. A new bell is reportedly to toll at the M. B. church, and Rev Meckelsen and Rev Jones of Sioux City filled pulpits last Sabbath.

LeMars High School seniors entertained at Hutton home

Death of Charles Jennings in LeMars
Charles Jennings died at his father John Jennings’s home on High Street Monday morning at 3:30 from pneumonia after a week’s illness. He was 36 and lived in LeMars all his life. The funeral was at First Baptist church Tuesday at 2:30, led by Rev. Farker Smith. He leaves a father and mother, five brothers, and three sisters. Two sisters Mrs. H A Turner and Mrs. O F Bradfield of Silvertown Colo visited before his death.
