Mrs Budde entertained N C A club members Wednesday afternoon with the usual bridge and an attractive luncheon after. The Bridge Octet joined Miss Marie Schnepf for an evening of bridge and a luncheon to conclude the gathering.
Mrs. Eugene Beaufils hosts two card afternoons with seven bridge tables and a two course repast using sweet peas and tulips. Auction 500 draws 30 guests, followed by luncheon and decorative flowers. Circle C of Methodist church holds dollar day dinner for 45. program includes music, readings, and a play. Western Union girls Glee Club concert features Miss Locke and Miss Liebing. Goodrich from Marshal visits. several hostesses entertain Mrs. Goodrich with teas and luncheons. Others attend informal afternoons, needlework, and bridge at various local clubs.
A schedule lists events for the week including Home and Education with Miss Margaret Struble, St George's Guild with Mrs. G A C Clarke on Tuesday, Bridgettes luncheon at Davidsons Tea Room on Wednesday, Battenbury Club luncheon at Davidson's on Friday hosted by Mrs. W G Bolser and Mrs. J J DePree, Bridge Club Luncheon by Mrs. G W Cunningham, and N B Club hosted by Mrs. Ray Edmonds on Saturday.
Mrs Peter Gaash hosted an attractive luncheon at five o clock before bridge hours. Mrs Joe Robberman and Mr and Mrs Hill were guests of the Bim Hill card club at Tuesday evening meeting. A late luncheon was served.
