Earl Peron and Louise Kroger were married by Rev J B Walker at the groom’s parents home in Lincoln. The bridesmaid was Olive Peron and Peter Kyoger served as best man. The couple, long-time residents, will take charge of the Peron farm with over fifty relatives attending a large afternoon reception.
J F Fischbach will remodel his Buseas house to enlarge capacity by rearranging interiors and adding a basement lit by large windows at both ends. Entrance to the basement will be mid building with a void removed in the first door, decking enlarged to three miles capacity, and a fine steel ceiling to replace the current ceiling, work to begin soon and finish as quickly as possible.
Attendance at the Corn Belt Meat Producers association meeting in Plymouth County was light due to rain and bad roads. District organizer A Sykes of Ida Grove gave an informal, pointed address urging farmers to unite to secure dues from trusts and corporations. He warned of manipulation in business channels and predicted steady membership growth.
A farewell party was held Monday at the home of Mrs. and Rev. Schmalle of the United Evangelical church. About seventy five attendees enjoyed the event as the community regrets the conference decision to relocate the family. A silk paned quilt and a purse were presented to the couple, who depart this week for Neaistrand Adon.
German M E Church schedules a Wednesday evening Xpworth League program. Passion services are set for Thursday and Friday evenings. An Easter sermon will be preached Sunday forenoon by the pastor, followed by a Sunday school program in the evening with special features.

The spring meeting of the Sioux City Presbytery opened last night at the First Presbyterian church and will continue today and tomorrow. About one hundred ministers and laymen are expected at this meeting.

A flurry of short trips and visits unfolds as residents travel to Sioux City Des Moines and beyond. Notable movements include Paul Balau heading to Mar Tineau, John Elise visiting sons in Sioux City, Rev. Karl Kaupp from Melbourne touring LeMars, and many others transacting business or visiting relatives across Sheldon Peterson LeMars and nearby towns.
John Ahern of Liberty township transacted in LeMars on Monday and called the interview with his brother James a fabrication. He said Liberty sentiment was unqualified against Mr Perkins for Governor. The Perkina people plan a large campaign rally in Akron on Friday in the new opera house to confirm supremacy in the county. Hon J Struble and P A Boland will address the crowd as Jimmie Mohan, son of Mr and Mrs James Mohan, suffers a broken collar bone after being thrown from a broncho but escapes internal injuries.
Anderson, who had his foot badly frozen and part of it amputated at LeMars hospital, was sent away Monday by Supervisor Ahlers. Once a county charge at the poor farm, he had been drunk and wandered into town, aided by a fitted shoe from P. A. Tulin before departure.
Louis Johnston was involved in a runaway accident Thursday afternoon with a Cobb telephone wagon near Kendall corner. A horse spooked at a Standard Oil tank wagon, the tongue broke, overturning the wagon. Johnston was jerked off the seat and dragged, receiving a sprained back and minor injuries. The notice ends with an Easter jewelry advertisement reference.
Mrs John Huxtable and her son Walter headed Wednesday for Mineral Point to be with her father who is seriously ill. Miss Gertrude Ericksen Miss Emma Ericksen and Miss Alvina Larson are visiting LeMars over Easter with Mr and Mrs A P Dorr. Henry Henricksen traveled to Washta to see his sister Mrs J N Kissinger for a few days. his mother Mrs Henricksen will return with him after her visit in Washta.
