In Sioux City last week the 4H Livestock Conservation Day taught high school seniors how to handle calves humanely, spray protocols for pest control, and inoculation seed benefits. 3 4H club members learned to manage livestock without bruising, ensuring quality meat and healthier calves for future farming.

The Plymouth County Iowa Board of Supervisors met in adjourned session with Supervisors Nohbte Plueger Moritz Richardson and Selwice present. Minutes from February 20 and February 4 11 and 18 1957 were approved. A bond was approved for QO. J. Port for constable of Wanenek Township. EE. B. Moser was named as commissioner for 1957 at 12.50 per day and Fred Renken as assistant commissioner at 1.25 per hour. A resolution was adopted to perpetually maintain a bridge on Section Twelve Township Ninety North Range Forty eight West of the 6th P.M. across Stephens Creek for Amos D. Ross and heirs, executors and assigns use. The county auditor was directed to spread the resolution on the minutes and copies sent to Amos D. Ross.
