Wedded in Le Mars in solemn church rites
Miss Katherine Heissel and Lawrence Lewis of Le Mars were married at St. Joseph's church in a ceremony by Monsignor Feurenstein at 9:30. A large gathering attended. The reception followed at the bride’s parents’ home with a five course wedding dinner and many gifts. The couple left Tuesday for a wedding trip and will work in the restaurant business in Le Mars upon return. Henrietta McCoy and Daniel Shea married at St. James church with nuptial mass and a breakfast at the bride’s home. Both couples are long-time Plymouth county residents with many local friends. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Shea and Mr. DeViche.

KILLED BY THE CARS ON RAIL LINE DEAD MAN IDENTIFIED
John Brady a 28 year old railroad laborer with Merrill and Hawarden cutout of the Northwestern road was found dead beside the track two miles east of Hawarden on Sunday. He sustained a fractured skull and other severe injuries. Identification papers named his father Thomas Brady of Maryville Missouri who came to take the remains. Brady worked with Ryan Bros grading gang of Sioux City. The coroner’s verdict says he was killed by an engine of cars while intoxicated.

The district Inter Collegiate Oratorical contest will be held at Morningside College in Sioux City this evening. Death takes George Heyl after three days illness
George Heyl of LeMars died about noon Monday at his South Fulton home following a three day acute indigestion attack. He was 72, born in Germany, a Union Army veteran, and longtime resident of Missouri Illinois Nebraska and Iowa. Surviving children Henry Edward Wyatt Wred Mrs G A Bliesener and Mrs Hermann. Funeral at St John Evangelical church with Mower Post G A R arranging. Interment in city cemetery.
