Sioux County Board of Supervisors picks chairman and approves finances
In Sioux county Iowa January 4 1892 the board elected A van der Meide as chairman after a second ballot with 3 votes to 1. They approved claims for sheep killed by dogs and rejected road damage petitions. Auditors bonds issued and banks named for county deposits were approved. The afternoon session set standing committees and adjourned to inspect the jail.
