Fred Grabenhorst, a 55 year old farmer near Milford, was attacked at his barn by a robber who shot him in the arm and clubbed him. Mrs Grabenhorst and her daughters Kate and Mary, ages 16 and 22, rushed to aid, entangling in a fierce struggle that ended with Mary gripping the assailant’s wrist as the trio fought for escape.
