Assignment of errors in Sharon township school case

Attorneys for Miss Rose Frank file with the state superintendent an assignment of 17 errors in the trial before the county superintendent. The hearing will center on these errors as the basis to review the record. The case pits supporters of the dismissed teacher against the influential director whose child was punished. Key objections include the board’s authority in the investigation, allowing the defendant’s brother to represent her, Reynolds Amish’s participation, and evidence standards on appeal. The outcome will hinge on whether the case is trial de novo and if the board’s actions were proper.
