Lutherans Face Burlington Convention Topics
The Lutheran Synod convention in Burlington October 10 to 15 will discuss moving the English branch of the Lutheran seminary at Atchison Kansas to Burlington, joining the German branch. Rev McCulloch of the Burlington Trinity Lutheran church notes the English and German seminaries are in Atchison. The English Synod meeting and the Woman's Home and Foreign Missionary Society annual gathering will be held in Burlington with church leaders from Iowa expected.
