Jone Oregon August 3 09 editor of The Proclaimer condemns state water rights rules as graft and a costly universal burden. He cites burdens on irrigation stock watering and recording fees, drought mismanagement, and wasteful commissions, urging repeal or public referendum to preserve democracy.
Ordinance 68 prohibiting owners and employees of pastimes from allowing minors to loiter or play games of chance and making minor misrepresentation to permit such activities. Minor offenders face fines up to 50 dollars or up to 24 days in jail. owners face fines up to 50 dollars and costs. Repeals prior ordinances and becomes law upon mayoral approval.
