The lone High School boys baseball team defeated Heppner 7 to 3 on the Lexington field last Thursday to reach the championship with Arlington. On Saturday Ione and Arlington played for the trophy, and lone secured the title in a dramatic finish.

The Twenty-first annual Ione High School commencement took place in the auditorium Friday evening May 17. The stage featured flowers and green decorations and the class colors coral and gray predominated.
