The Lone High senior class will host a cafe teria auction Friday March 27 in the Harris Building. Inez Clark, a Lone High alumna, visited the school last Wednesday. The Condon game was cancelled due to Condon’s single pitcher. Heppner high will play Saturday as announced, weather permitting, with hopeful turnout for Lone’s season opener.
Victor Peterson's mother moves into town and will occupy rooms in the Harris apartment house. Three college blades Wendel Balsiger Nolan Page and Carlton Swanson motored to Arlington last Tuesday to hear the Willamette varsity ladies glee club sing. At least hearing the singing was the announced programme.
The Lone School faculty and helpers stage Mr. Pim Passes By by Milne to raise funds for a school auditorium curtain. Cast includes George Marden J Clifton Tucke Dinah Marden Olivia Marden and Portia Kidwell. Also listed are Mr Pim Lady Marden Aunt Julia Vera Engleman Brian Strange Victor Peterson Anne Ruby Engleman. Other items include seed wheat and a stray buckskin mare.
